Oldfield Smith are proud to have supported the Cancer Research summer lunch held today at East Sussex National.
The event was well supported with many local businesses, including ourselves, sponsoring tables and raising money through ticket sales. Sadly we weren’t successful in the charity raffle and we were outbid on the wonderful cricket bat signed by the Sussex team, but enjoyed meeting so many interesting people.
An excellent and informative talk by Dr Jessica Downs provided a real insight into the cutting edge research being carried out to help beat this terrible disease.
