The building surveying team at Oldfield Smith & Co have been out in Newhaven this week, preparing a schedule of dilapidations on a commercial unit in the town centre. Using our drones, we were able to inspect and assess the roof, gutters and chimneys – safely, efficiently and with a minimum of disruption.
Our modern fleet of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles offers 4k video recording and up to 20MP still images giving very high quality photos showing building defects in detail. They can also access areas which would be difficult to reach using cherry pickers and at a fraction of the cost of scaffolding.
Our qualified and experienced professional team are experts in preparing, negotiating and settling dilapidations claims. We act for both landlords and tenants, covering properties of all sizes. Our clients range from small independent business to multinational corporations and we work right across the country.
Our drones can also be used for routine inspections – many insurance companies require flat roofs to be inspected annually – and to assist in identifying and addressing faults with building structures and components. The images below are from recent surveys we have competed in central London and Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands.
