Parker Building Supplies held their annual Charity cricket match on 3rd Auhust, proudly sponsored by Oldfield Smith & Co
On Sunday, Oldfield Smith were proud to sponsor our good friends at Parker Building Supplies, who are not only the regions leading builders merchant but a huge supporter of Teenage Cancer Trust. This is a wonderful charity, doing amazing things to help young people battling against this terrible disease and Parkers have raised many thousands of pounds to help ensure young people get the specialist support they need.
This year, Parkers very finest 11, took on the might of Maresfield CC in a thrilling T20 match, raising a magnificent £1,543.57 in the process. An outstanding result and a great day for all who took part.

Our thanks go to Stuart Chappel for organising the event and to Maresfield Cricket Club for not only hosting the game, but also donating a percentage of the bar profits. It was also great to see a range of local businesses donating prizes to the charity raffle, which contributed to the total raised.
