As a socially responsible, ethical and professional business, Oldfield Smith & Company have fully complied with government advice on measures to control the spread of COVID-19 throughout the pandemic.  We care abut the safety of our staff, the clients we work with and the communities in which we operate.  We recognise that we all have a part to play in controlling the spread of the virus.  For this reason we have continually sought to comply with both the detailed requirements of legislation and the spirit of the Government’s supporting advice.

As a technology driven business, we have systems, procedures and IT equipment in place which allows our staff to seamlessly work remotely.  Thus we are able to provide consistent levels of service whilst reducing the risk of infection through home working and staggered attendance at our offices, keeping everyone safe.

We are very much OPEN FOR BUSINESS and are keen to help our clients trade through these challenging times.  Our systems and procedures have been reviewed and risk assessed, so we are proud to confirm that our business practices are COVID-19 Secure.  As a result, we are still able to offer a full range of services including accompanied viewings, surveys and valuations.  We have also added video virtual tours of the majority of properties we have available, allowing applicants to fully appreciate the merits of sites in a safe and convenient way.

To keep everyone safe, we have opted to close the office to personal callers and visitors except in exceptional circumstances.  However, we can be contacted by phone or email and have facilities for video conferencing where meetings are required, using Skype, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
